Part Time Accounts Payable Associate

The Lynx Group is seeking a Part Time Accounts Payable Associate to join our dynamic team. This position will be approximately 16 hours per week. Prior AP experience required.

  1. Ensure proper approvals are received for all bills
  2. Code bills appropriately – G/L expense account & class
  3. Enter bills in QB’s ensuring no duplicate entries
  4. Enter check requests for various conference and project related expenses such as honorarium and expense reimbursements
  5. Run A/P reports and provide proposed A/P runs to CEO for approval
  6. Print checks, get signed and copy for internal records
  7. Match checks to bills verifying amounts
  8. Stuff envelopes and mail to vendors
  9. File alphabetically in A/P cabinets by company
  10. Respond to all vendor inquiries and internal vendor related inquiries
  11. Maintain vendor records in QB’s adding new vendors as necessary ensuring tax status is accurate via W-9’s
  12. File and maintain all W-9’s
  13. Process 1099’s at year end – printing and mailing
  14. File 1096 with IRS
  15. QED/Eidos/Origin – track IO’s and ads making payments as required by advertisers
  16. Fill out credit applications when necessary

Experience:

Must have Accounts Payable experience, must be organized and have a strong attention to detail
