Digital Content Manager

The Lynx Group is seeking a Digital Content Manager who will support the Digital team. The Digital Content Manager (DCM) will be responsible for coordination, management, and administration of content and content distribution products across The Lynx Group portfolio of digital assets. This dynamic role requires a unique blend of editorial, production and computer skills to maximize the value of digital articles, e-mail promotions, surveys and other medical information offerings.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with key stakeholders internally to execute cross-promotional content strategies across a network of publications delivered to healthcare professionals
  • Establish profiles of major readership segments and adjust messaging/timing to acquire and retain users and maximize engagement
  • Deliver high-quality content messaging on a daily basis to support website and e-mail exposure of all company brands, digital products, and live events
  • Manage the creation, targeting, distribution, and analysis of e-mail campaigns
  • Design and implement ongoing user feedback tactics to collect product and market intelligence
  • Ensure consistently high-value experience for readership which emphasizes content, professional information needs, and business goals
  • Collect, update/maintain, and collate data necessary for reporting activities including regular status and metric summaries
  • Contribute ideas for process improvement to ensure all individual business units meet or exceed their goals with respect to product development, production, and marketing
  • Monitor trends and changes related to digital medical and information publishing
  • Interface with clients, supporters, and other external parties as necessary
  • Provide other departments with custom metrics upon request
  • Attend relevant meetings, as needed

Required Education/Experience:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years similar work experience in a digital publishing environment

Computer Skills:

  • Design and graphics packages including the Adobe Suite (Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
  • Content management, programming, and digital design skills leveraging Joomla!, WordPress, Dreamweaver, HTML5, CSS3, CMS, and FTP software
  • Expertise working with e-mail marketing systems like Bronto, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, etc
  • Deep proficiency with Internet and Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proficient in MAC, PC computers and mobile devices
  • Javascript knowledge a plus

  • Understanding of and ability to lead the development of digital products to have the most impact on marketing and the targeted audience
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and within budgetary specifications

  • Ability to perform duties while meeting the highest professional and ethical standards
  • Ability and willingness to take direction from several key stakeholders to achieve results
