Digital Content Manager

The Lynx Group is seeking a Digital Content Manager who will support the Digital team. The Digital Content Manager (DCM) will be responsible for coordination, management, and administration of content and content distribution products across The Lynx Group portfolio of digital assets. This dynamic role requires a unique blend of editorial, production and computer skills to maximize the value of digital articles, e-mail promotions, surveys and other medical information offerings.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with key stakeholders internally to develop cross-promotional content strategy across a network of publications delivered to healthcare professionals
  • Deliver high-quality digital content on a daily basis to support website, e-mail, and social media exposure of all company brands, digital products, and live events
  • Manage the creation, targeting, distribution, and analysis of e-mail campaigns, surveys, and digital media
  • Implement ongoing user feedback tactics to collect product and market intelligence
  • Collect, update/maintain, and collate data necessary for reporting activities including regular status and metric summaries

Required Education/Experience:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or 1 to 2 years’ similar work experience in a digital publishing environment

Computer Skills:

  • Design and graphics packages including the Adobe Suite (Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
  • Content management, programming, and digital design skills leveraging Joomla!, WordPress, Dreamweaver, HTML5, CSS3, CMS, and FTP software
  • Experience working with e-mail marketing systems such as Bronto, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, etc
  • Proficient with Internet and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proficient in MAC, PC computers and mobile devices
  • JavaScript knowledge a plus


  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience with digital products in a publishing, agency, or other business setting (healthcare or pharmaceutical publishing environment preferred)
  • Significant experience with digital media, web updates, e-mail, etc
  • Sophisticated content management abilities with a strong eye for detail
  • Contribute creative problem-solving skills to help dictate digital strategies
  • Consistently ensure high-quality work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
  • Understanding of digital content and placement to have the most impact on marketing and the targeted audience
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and within budgetary specifications
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to perform duties while meeting the highest professional, quality, and ethical standards
  • Ability and willingness to take direction from multiple key stakeholders to achieve results
